Welcome To Boomer Be Well
Boomer Be Well is a blog dedicated to all you Baby Boomers who have a passion for health, nutrition and vitality. As we move into a new age of our lives, maintaining our health has taken on a new dimension. There are all types of products out there being marketed to our generation to slow the process of aging. Some are great, some are not. This blog will present sound ideas for maintaining our health and well being. Taking care of yourself should be a top priority. It does not have to involve fancy products or programs. The first step in doing so is simply becoming conscious about yourself and your habits. That in itself can be a moment of enlightenment. The majority of us are doing more than one thing at a time these days. How often can we say we eat a meal and focus on the simple act of eating? Much of the time, we are usually engaged in another activity and don't really pay much attention to what and how much we consume. The next time you sit down to a meal, take a few minutes and focus on your food. Look at it. Savor the flavor of each bite. You may even want to set your fork down between bites and just enjoy the experience. Until next time.
